Our story begins with a TikToker from the US, who goes by the username @bbygirls0s0. She shared the preparations for her son's birthday party, which had a minions theme. In case you're unfamiliar with minions, they are those yellow creatures from the Despicable Me series.

After she posted a video showing the party decorations, she uploaded a second TikTok revealing an epic cake fail from H-E-B — a supermarket chain in the US.

"I just picked up my son's minion cake from H-E-B, and this is the ugliest fucking thing I've ever seen," the mother declared in her TikTok, which has attracted over 16.6 million views.

"It's totally fixable, and I'm not that picky, so I just took it. But this is the ugliest fucking thing ever."

The TikToker proceeded to show the inspiration for her cake, which was a simple round cake with a minion's face. Honestly, as someone who doesn't bake, I think I could attempt this design. That's how straightforward it seems!

She then explained that the employee asked if she wanted an ombre design, to which she declined, adding that she didn't want it to be fancy.

The goggles and mouth are missing. Instead of writing on the bottom of the cake, they've added a random ribbon, and let's not even mention the eyes' placement.

In a TikTok update, the mother showed how she managed to fix her son's cake, and thank goodness she could transform that disaster.

According to cakeprices.com, custom cake orders from the supermarket chain range from USD$8.98 to USD$49.98. Their official site also mentions that you only need to give your store a 24-hour notice, which seems quite short to me.
