A Bunch Of Aussie Stars Were Snubbed From The 2025 Logies & They're Pissed

The most dazzling evening in Australian media, The TV WEEK Logie Awards, is now just a week away. While some celebrities are busy steaming their gowns and choosing the perfect pocket square to complement their eyes, others from the Aussie television scene, especially reality TV personalities, find themselves left out without an invitation.

Over the years, the exclusion of reality TV stars from Australia's biggest television night has become quite routine. Considering these stars contribute significantly to the drama and entertainment of reality TV, it's surprising that they don't receive at least a cordial invitation to grace the red carpet.

Without further ado, here's a list of all the stars who were not invited to the 65th Annual TV WEEK Logie Awards.

Married At First Sight

Every year, curiosity peaks over whether the Married At First Sight (MAFS) cast will get to strut down the Logies red carpet. According to 2025 bride Jamie Marinos, this year’s contestants didn't hold out much hope.

“Honestly, there was all this chatter about us getting invited, but I didn’t buy into it, so I went ahead and booked a trip to Europe, doing my own publicity tour in London,” she shared with Yahoo! Lifestyle.

“None of us got invited,” Jamie confirmed.

“That’s unfortunate for everyone else at the Logies because we sure know how to make an impression at any dinner party. It’s disappointing as I know the rest of the cast would have looked forward to it as well.

“I would have loved to attend the Logies with everyone.”

Though the contestants won't be present, the show — often a Logie winner — will be represented again this year by experts John Aiken and Alessandra Ramppolla.

The Real Housewives Of Sydney

For the first time, The Real Housewives Of Sydney is nominated for a Logie for Best Structured Reality Program. However, it seems none of the show’s stars have received an invitation.

“From what I understand, after the nomination news, some cast members reached out to production to find out who would be attending the Logies,” Victoria Montano stated, as per Yahoo! Lifestyle.

“I didn’t bother contacting production when the news came out — I was under no illusion that they would prioritize themselves over the stars of the show. The ladies, who open their lives to the public for almost no compensation, allowing production to profit from our lives.”

Oooooft.

The Block

Fans of The Block can expect to see beloved hosts Scotty Cam and Shelley Craft at this year's event. However, similar to MAFS, no contestants have been invited.

“Unfortunately, we haven’t received an invite to the Logies,” 2024 contestant Ricky Recard told Yahoo! Lifestyle.

“If The Block bosses and Channel 9 can squeeze us onto their invite list, I’m sure they will. With so many amazing people involved in the show, from [executive producer] Julian Cress, Scotty Cam, Shelley Craft, and many more, it must be quite challenging to invite everyone to such a special night.”

A bit of flattery, but if it works, who am I to judge?

Travel Guides

Travel Guides has proudly won the Best Lifestyle Program Logie award for the past three years. To celebrate, the cast regularly attends, adding their vibrant energy to the red carpet.

I’m thrilled to report that the entire cast will return this year. Will they clinch the award for a fourth consecutive year? Only time will tell.

Australian Idol

One of the few reality contestants expected to grace the 2025 Logies red carpet is Australian Idol winner Marshall Hamburger, who is “thrilled” to attend for the first time.

“I must say I am really excited to hear Jimmy Barnes sing. I’ve never seen him perform live before, so witnessing him in person will be a huge honor! I’m also eager to hopefully see some of the crew from Idol, like Ricki-Lee, the judges, and the production crew,” he shared with Yahoo! Lifestyle.

Additionally, with Ricki-Lee Coulter nominated for Most Popular Presenter, I’m 99 per cent sure we’ll see her make a statement on the carpet.

MasterChef

Last year, MasterChef judges Poh Ling Yeow and Sofia Levin graced the Logies representing the beloved cooking show. Thankfully, they’ll be back this year — especially as Poh is up for the Gold Logie and Sofia has been nominated for Most Popular New Talent.

However, while top-three contestants have attended in the past, this time they’re focusing on the judges.

“I hope they do well at the Logies,” commented runner-up Josh ‘Pezza’ Perry from the 2024 MasterChef season.

“It was a great show to be part of, but I only came second and [I’m] just a guy from Tassie, so I’m probably forgotten quickly, I think,” he shared. “But I like that because that’s who I am and I probably didn’t fit what they were looking for.”

My Kitchen Rules

My Kitchen Rules judges Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge will certainly be walking the red carpet in some dashing suits. However, like other reality shows mentioned, the contestants haven’t received invites.

Farmer Wants A Wife

Farmer Wants A Wife remains a bit of an enigma at the Logies! The host, Natalie Gruzlewski, hasn’t appeared since 2014, and none of the 2024 farmers have been invited either.

So, there you have it. While the 2025 Logies might lack the reality star ~drama~ we crave, it promises to be an entertaining evening.

You can catch the Logies at The Star on Channel Seven or 7Plus at 7.00pm AEST Sunday 3 August.
